There is no planning security.
When the spring dates of Mario Barth’s anniversary tour at the beginning of the Corona crisis were postponed to next year, nobody suspected how long the ban on more significant events would last. It is now obvious that the autumn dates of “Men are pigs, but women are also 2.0” will be pushed back to 2021. Under the current conditions, there is no planning security for shows with more than 3,000 visitors. That is why the tour will take place in spring and autumn 2021.
At the request of his fans, the King of Comedy will go on tour again with his first stage program, “Men are pigs, but women too”. This unique decision was a vote among the fans as to which program Mario should play for the 20th stage anniversary on the Waldbuhne in Berlin. The great majority wanted a new edition of “Men are pigs, but women too”.
Twenty years ago, just 150,000 visitors had seen the program, while the show subsequently became the best-selling comedy DVD in Germany. The Waldbuhne was sold out in no time, which is why the unique anniversary show became an anniversary tour. With the move to the new year, new cities and displays will also be added to the tour calendar.
Mario Barth: “It’s wrong that so many people are enthusiastic about the idea of playing the first program again. I just have the best fans in the world! You get a exceptional show: men are pigs, but women are also 2.0.”
