He played tiny Markus from the age of six to 13
The cult series at the end of the 90s: From 1998 to 2003, “Rita’s world” flickered across the screens. In addition to the main actress Gaby Koster (59), Marius Theobald (31) also stood in front of the camera as her film son Markus Kruse. Today, 18 years later, he has – understandably – blossomed and grown from a little boy to a grown man.
Filming took place during the summer vacation.
Marius Theobald played tiny Markus in five episodes with a total of about 70 episodes. His film character lived in Cologne with his mother Rita, papa Horst and sister Sandra and was in the middle of puberty – just like in real life. Almost 20 years later, the attractive rogue has become a bearded man:

On Luke Mockridge’s show, he recently revealed, “I started when I was six and quit when I was 13.” However, it was only shot during the summer holidays. And after “Rita’s World”, the acting continued: The now 31-year-old began training as an actor at the Theater Academy in Cologne in 2012, which he completed four years later. Before that, he studied psychology at Wuppertal. Most recently, he was seen in the film “Narcissus and Goldmund”.
