Sunrise Avenue has to postpone the farewell tour again.

The “Thank You For Everything” tour starts on April 22

The Finnish rock group Sunrise Avenue has to postpone their farewell tour altogether initially planned for 2020. This was announced by Samu Haber (45) and his bandmates on Facebook, among other things. At the beginning of the year, the two shows in Helsinki had already been postponed to July 2022.

The “Thank You For Everything” tour starts on April 17th, 2022, in Berlin and will take the band through Germany, Austria and Switzerland until May. At the grand finale on July 8th and 9th, Samu Haber and his colleagues will be guests at the Helsinki Olympic Stadium. Tickets that have already been purchased should remain valid.

“I firmly believe that it will be the last time that we have to reorganize everything. Next year in April the world has to be completely normal again,”writes Haber on the band’s Facebook page. He couldn’t wait for the lights to go out before the initial show.

The group also writes on Instagram: “No masks. Not two meters away. No stress. Just rock ‘n’ roll and a hall full of love.”

With their hit “Fairytale Gone Bad”, Sunrise Avenue played their way into the hearts of fans for the first time in 2006. 13 years later, they announced the end of the band in early December 2019. It was said at the time that they wanted to devote themselves to other projects in the future.
